  • Women’s cross country second at nationals. The women’s cross country team recorded the highest NCAA Division III championship finish in school history with a second-place showing at the national championship meet Nov. 20 in Waverly, Iowa. It was the sixth time in program history that the women’s team has placed in the top four at the NCAA championships, with the Bears recording third-place finishes on three occasions (2004, ’05 and ’07).
